EMFs, Inflammation, and Healing

I’ve written previously about how EMFs cause inflammation in the body at locations of physical trauma (scar tissue). Exposure to the EMFs in sensitive individuals causes pain at these locations and can inhibit healing. It turns out I’m not the only one to observe this.

Dr. Don Nixdorf of Farabloc contacted me recently. He shared the results of their research on EMFs, inflammation, and healing. Their findings validate my observations.

We also discussed how media emphasis on technology sources means that ambient sources of EMFs are overlooked.

Like me, Dr. Nixdorf understands the effects of EMFs on healing and the importance of finding solutions.  His work dovetails with my own and I am delighted to endorse it as part of an EMF Sensitivity toolkit.

Disclosure: Dr. Nixdorf contacted me as a professional courtesy. I do not receive any financial compensation for endorsing Farabloc products, nor do I have any financial ties to the company.

There are multiple ways of dealing with EMF-induced inflammation.

Anti-inflammatory/pain reliever. NSAIDs are not without risks and though they may provide temporary relief, they have side effects. They also do not deal with the core issue.

Relocate. If the source of the problematic EMFs is tied to a specific location, you could move away from that location. However, this can be difficult when the source is ambient, such as an impending thunderstorm or earthquake

Block the EMFs. This can be done at the source of the EMFs or on the body.

A list of ways to accomplish this can be found in Riding the Waves Diagnosing, Treating, and Living with EMF Sensitivity.

The Farabloc products also accomplish this though it is important to note that the products were developed for those who use prosthetics. From Dr. Nixdorf:

We have been trying to find a way to help the Wounded Warrior and other amputees. Our local prosthetists simply laminate the fabric as part of the hard plastic shell for legs and arms whether above or below the joint and when resting or sleeping there is a simple sock like a limb cover. The recovery from surgery when used with normal bandage protocol or used long after surgery brings rapid relief from phantom pain for majority of users.

Cure the EMF Sensitivity. A healthy immune system will not release inflammation inducing chemicals as part of a “fight of flee” response when exposed to EMFs deemed safe by IEEE.

Someone who has suffered a serious injury will have a compromised immune system, at least initially as the body deals with the shock and trauma and begins the road to recovery.

Blocking the EMFs to alleviate symptoms takes pressure off the immune system. As healing progresses, individuals can turn to strengthening the immune system.

Strengthening the immune system is an involved complex process that needs to incorporate detoxing the body of heavy metals and other toxins while restoring the necessary mineral balance. This can be especially challenging while taking any medications as many of them inhibit absorption of minerals and contain other substances that can negatively impact the body’s ability to heal.

In blocking inflammation-inducing EMFs, Farabloc products can go a long way toward facilitating healing ,and should be considered when appropriate.
